Valentine's Day Cupcake Pan

I saw this pin a couple of months ago, and thought it was really cute. I have way more cupcake pans than I could ever need, so I knew I wanted to do something along those lines. I've been holding off, trying to think of the perfect idea, and I decided to make a Valentine's Day cupcake pan.

This didn't take long at all, and I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out. It took 2 coats of acrylic paint for the base. I splattered red all over it, and I like how that turned out. There's also a clear glitter paint over the whole thing, but you can't see that in pictures. 

I'm already thinking of doing this for other holidays. (Yes, I have that many extra cupcake pans. lol.) I need to work on my free-hand lettering and drawing, but I still like this a lot.

Have you done anything creative with any extra pans you have? I'd love to hear your ideas.
